ZONE ZERO 2015

Through its social perspective and artistic approach "Zone Zero" brings you home into this 'challenging and provocative' environment questioning:
Is it possible within an abstract "no-man's land" to create a righteous society capable of respecting individual freedom?

In 2007, the bell of the Gésu-church in the Koningstraat of Brussels rings for the last time. A Swiss investment company just bought the building to turn it into a five-star hotel. A few years later, in 2010, the monastery transforms to an occupation homeless people, illegal citizens, artists and activists. All together they are 150 inhabitants,
including 70 children.
The documentary 'Zone Zero" gives an inside perspective on the way of life and the evolution of this micro-society, starting from November 2011 until the forceful evacuation in November of 2013.
